Drivers could have their records wiped off if they abstain from submitting further road offenses for a year, under another prosperity drive, took off by police in Dubai.

Dubai Police pushed the "Honorable Driver" plan to compensate safe driving and to encourage people to watch their speed and take extra thought when in the driver's seat.

The fight was disclosed by Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, leader of Dubai Police, at the power's home office on Wednesday.

Driver who keep up an ideal record for a half year will have their flow fines cut by 50 percent.

Drivers who keep up a flawless traffic record for a quarter of a year will benefit by a 25 percent cut of their traffic fines.

The arrangement covers simply traffic offenses submitted in Dubai and excludes people who are based outside of the Emirate for a period of a quarter of a year or more.
